Generally these are federal laws that pertain to the entrance of foreign nationals into the country on short or long-term work visas. However, any time there are families and real estate involved, there are legal issues that could use the helpful touch of an attorney that specializes in such things.

For starters: the visa process. Your company will have to prove that the foreign born employees you're importing are your only option. A great many work visas depend upon some sort of affidavit or proof that there are no US citizens qualified for the position. The regulations that pertain to visas are the most rigorous of the laws on employee relocation. There certainly is no way around them and failure to comply is a federal offence. It is up to your company, to make sure all employees who are working on visas have been thoroughly researched and everything that can be done to support the federal visa process has been done.
